It gives me an immense pleasure to invite you all for the 2^nd Oil & Gas HSE Conclave scheduled to be held on December 11-12, 2019 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The theme of the conference is “Driving HSE culture for building resilient organisation”. The Theme of this conclave has been carefully chosen focusing on the worldwide current scenarios of evolving HSE Culture in Oil and Gas industries.

In today's business scenario, there is an emergent need for the industries to adopt Risk Based HSE culture focusing on risks associated with the operation and maintenance activities. Risk based culture needs to be fully integrated in the routine safety practices and operational processes including employee’s mind-set and behaviour at workplace. An effectively managed operational risk based governance system will enhance the line management capacity and competency along with accountability and ownership of risks. To achieve effective risk management, organizations must focus on being proactive, rather than merely reactive, and use risk management to both drive competitive advantage and sustain future profitability and growth. An integrated approach for managing processes risks, resources, and a strong HSE culture & discipline is required for building a resilient organisation culture. All the companies should work in the direction of Safety Maturity Index now. The leadership team across the organisations have to play a key role in leading this paradigm shift of transforming HSE culture, to build safe, sustainable and state of the art business processes.

The First edition of HSE Conclave was successfully organised in Dec, 2017 which was attended by 400+ participants from Oil and Gas industries with more than 40+ key speakers from India and abroad.

This 2^nd edition of Oil & Gas HSE conclave and exhibition will provide an excellent platform for stakeholders from the Oil and Gas Industry to build partnerships and share knowledge in the field of HSE. I am confident that this event will provide a great opportunity for knowledge sharing and discussion of global best practices that will further contribute to the creation of a proactive and dynamic safety culture in the workplace.
